New York Minutes- Jean-Paul Gautier by Hipstamatic

My latest New York City adventure led me to a mind boggling experience in Brooklyn. I was lucky enough to go and see the Jean-Paul Gautier exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. If you’re into fashion, art, or would like to see something different, I highly suggest seeing this if you’re in town before the end of February. It is nothing less than fantastical, and left me feeling like I had just spent time in a world where multiple dreams were happening. It was amazing!

I decided to use the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone to take photos, as I thought it would be the most appropriate, and compliment the vividly colorful exhibit in the way I saw it. The exhibit consisted of many different rooms, each with its own unique style, and collection from Jean-Paul Gautier. And one of the highlights of the exhibit definitely has to be the “talking mannequins”, with faces being projected onto the mannequins, giving them a very realistic appearance. There is even one for Jean-Paul Gautier himself, welcoming you as you walk in!  As much as I could go on about it, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy!
